The Human Centipede

While I always love my girlfriend, there are certain times when I love her even more. Times such as last night, when walking at the end of The Human Centipede, she says "I really didn't think that was all that fucked up". If you've watched the trailer for the movie, you'll understand that there really isn't any way for this movie to go about its business without being very much fucked up.

Dieter Laser is pretty much my new favorite actor.

By all accounts, I should have been shocked and disgusted. I found myself laughing most of the time. I couldn't figure out why for most of the movie, but I figured it out at the end. It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia dedicated an episode to making this point: poop is funny. Even when it's passing from a guy to the girl behind him with a crazy German scientist yelling "Feeeed her! Feed her!". It's still funny.

Still, this movie was fucked up.
